Shop – the supplier’s online shop website available at sklep.rybaolpiny.com.pl.

Product – wooden products offered by the Manufacturer, including cutting boards, trays, candlesticks and more.

2. GENERAL PROVISIONS

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) set out the rules for the sale and delivery of the wooden products offered by RYBA WOODEN PRODUCTS.

By placing an order, you accept these terms and conditions.

3. PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS

The products are made of natural wood, which means possible variations in colour and grain.

The products are intended for internal use only.

The dimensional tolerances are:

  1. Width and length: +/- 2.5%
  2. Thickness: -1 mm

The products are glued from 20-70 mm wide lamellas, using D3 adhesive.

4. CUSTOMISED PRODUCTION

In the case of bespoke production to a customer’s design, quantity tolerances of +/- 5% are permissible.

5. SPECIFIC CHARACTERISTICS OF WOOD

  1. The shade and colour of the wood may vary between products within the same production batch. Colour differences are due to the natural characteristics of the wood and are not a defect.
  2. The intensity of the laser engraving depends on the specific nature of the wood and may vary in shade on products from the same batch.
  3. Products made from certain types of wood (ring-shaped), such as oak, ash and American walnut, may exhibit the effect of fibres standing up after initial contact with water. This is a natural phenomenon that will disappear after a few washes.
  4. The bending of a wooden product is a natural phenomenon.

6. PAYMENT TERMS

  1. Payment is made on the basis of a VAT invoice by bank transfer.
  2. The payment term is specified on the invoice or order. In case of delay, statutory interest will be charged.

7. DELIVERY AND ORDER PROCESSING

The lead time is

  1. Orders from the online shop – as specified in the shop rules (https://sklep.rybaolpiny.com.pl/pl/terms.html)
  2. Individual orders – up to 4 weeks from order confirmation, unless otherwise agreed.
  3. Confirmation of the order – this is tantamount to payment of the deposit specified in the order or, in the case of trade credit, following confirmation by e-mail.

Delivery costs are paid by the buyer, unless otherwise agreed.

Responsibility for the product is transferred to the buyer upon receipt of the delivery.

8. COMPLAINTS AND RETURNS

  1. Claims for latent defects must be made within 7 days of discovery.
  2. Products are only returnable in the event of manufacturing defects.
  3. Manufacturing defects can be
    • Production errors – under-sanded surface
    • Cracks in the wood resulting from the production process,
    • Incorrect dimensions outside the permissible tolerance,
    • Non-compliance of the product with the order specification.
  4. Claims do not include:
    • Natural differences in color and texture of wood. Described in section 5.
    • Damage resulting from washing in the dishwasher or prolonged contact with water.
    • Mechanical damage and resulting from improper storage.
    • Changes in the dimension of the product within the dimensional tolerance.
    • Discoloration resulting from contact between wood (oak) and raw metal (salad strainers, mincer knives).
    • The natural bending effect of wood products.

    • Changes resulting from the natural aging process of wood or resulting through normal use (scratches caused by slicing with a knife, discoloration from beets, strawberries or other staining materials).

9. COPYRIGHT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  1. The shapes of the products shown in the shop are the intellectual property of RYBA WOODEN PRODUCTS and may not be copied.
  2. RYBA WOODEN PRODUCTS brand distributors may use all images from the website sklep.rybaolpiny.com.pl
  3. PRIVATE LABEL customers can only use photos with a white background.

10. FORCE MAJEURE

  1. The manufacturer is not responsible for delays resulting from circumstances beyond its control, such as natural disasters, armed conflicts or problems with the supply of raw materials.

11. FINAL PROVISIONS

  1. In matters not covered by these terms and conditions, the provisions of Polish law shall apply.
  2. Any disputes will be settled by the court having jurisdiction over the seller’s registered office.
